National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia from the 3-10 July 2022, to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! which is asking for all Australians to support and secure institutional, structural, collaborative, and cooperative reforms. Whether it’s seeking proper environmental, cultural and heritage protections, Constitutional change, a comprehensive process of truth-telling, working towards treaties, or calling out racism—it has to be done together.
