Red Cliffs Grow & Share Garden
Grow & Share Garden:
Grow & Share Garden is a community space that shows people how they can grow their own food, share harvests, and learn together. Located at 16 Kiewa Avenue, Red Cliffs, it’s a welcoming place for anyone interested in gardening.
The garden demonstrates simple, low-cost ways to grow herbs, veggies, and fruit in small spaces. Volunteers and visitors swap tips, seedlings, and surplus produce, making it easier — and cheaper — to enjoy fresh, local food.
Programs at the Garden:
Food Swap
Bring your excess homegrown produce, seeds, or homemade goods to exchange with others. It’s a great way to reduce waste, save money, and share the bounty while connecting with the community.
Seedbank
Share or swap your seeds with other gardeners. Place your seeds in the envelopes provided, clearly labelled with the seed name and any extra details — like planting tips, variety information, or harvest notes.

Blue Tree Project
Blue Tree Project: The Blue Tree Project is a national movement sparking important conversations around mental health by painting dead trees blue.
What started as a simple tribute has become a powerful symbol of support and awareness for those struggling with mental health challenges. The painted trees serve as bold visual reminders that it’s okay to not be okay — and that speaking up can save lives.
Why it matters:
- Encourages open conversations about mental health
- Reduces stigma and helps people feel less alone
- Raises awareness in rural and regional communities
- Visually honours those lost and supports those still here
By painting a tree or sharing the message, your community joins a growing network committed to compassion, visibility, and action.
Red Cliffs Carers Support Group
Carers Support Group: Unpaid carers are invaluable. The Red Cliffs Carers Support Group offers a space to connect with others who understand the demands of caring.
The group runs free or low-cost activities that foster friendships, connection, and support — helping carers feel seen and supported in their role.
Members also gain access to information about local and national services that can make day-to-day life easier.
Carers who join the group receive a Red Cliffs Carers Pass, giving them flexible access to centre activities that recognise the unique challenges they face — while providing time out, understanding, and a sense of belonging.
